How many hobbyists have GFs/wives? Do providers have an opinion?

I've come to OH2 after entering my first stable relationship in years... before that I got everything I needed from dating apps, FWB, etc... but I feel like this hobby is an extension of masturbation, and don't feel the guilt I would if I was seeing other women. I'm sure my SO would disagree.

Since this is new to me, how do y'all feel about the "cheating" angle of this?

Over the years, I have been the "sounding board" for many many many Gentlemen that just don't know how to speak to their SOs, get what they want out of the relationship, and not start a fight. lol No clue if my advice was taken or not.

Visiting a provider is, in general, about satisfying a physical need. Needs that are not quite being met by the person that one is, in every other way, devoted to.

Having an affair with another woman is very different. An affair evolves emotion and runs the risk of a boiled bunny kind of situation. lol

I don't ask my "Friends" personal questions during a date.

I have had others ask very personal questions on the first date, I just don't go with that flow.

A gents RW life is absolutely none of my business unless he wants to share with me. In that case, I'm all ears. Im a great listener and I love to give advice from my female perspective. All secrets are safe with me. Ive had 3 gents out of my entire career who've said I've helped their marriage, 2 of which still regularly see me.

I think that when emotions get involved, it's cheating. When you have a set arrangement and a clear understanding, it's much easier to detach and return to RW. If I were a married man I'd choose SWs over random side chicks any day.

I've got a wife and a civvie FWB. I been rolling this way for a minute now. I do a lot for both of them. Wifey is the beneficiary of emotional monogamy, full financial support and extensive assistance keeping a home and raising our kids. FWB is the beneficiary of good times on the town on my dime and some ad hoc help with the bills here and there.

I don't feel guilty, so I reckon by the standards of this thread it's not cheating. That's good to know, BTW. Whew.

If you're feeling guilty after seeing one of our lovlies on this site, perhaps a change of hobbies. Gentlemen and ladies here fulfill certain desires/needs that aren't being met elsewhere.

No one here is perfect so no one can judge...let he who is perfect cast the first stone. Oh yes i did quote that verse. Basically it's all about how you feel about it. Most people here learn to seperate their RW lives from the hobby life. My advice, never let them get co-mingled with each other.

I'm so glad I'm happily divorced! I say happily because her and i get along just fine and she knows my "hobby" and says to me, "Hey if it makes YOU feel better!"

Or try this phrase, "If you aint cheating, you aint trying. If you get caught cheating, you aint trying hard enough!"

Just learn to separate your hobby life from RW life and you'll be ok. If your hobbying gets mixed in with your RW life, you might want to take a hiatus for a brief spell until you've gotten everything situated.
