Getting around location apps

So I was wondering if anyone has a SO that has suggested that the two of you use a tracking app for the children to know where they are (which would in fact tell all where you are assuming you have the location finder on your phone activated). If so how are you getting around being tracked? Leaving your phone where you’re suppose to be and using a hobby phone during appointments? Going to appointments w/o your phone, giving excuses for not activating your location services? Are there other apps that can mask your location? What is the plan if the SO called while you were in a session and asked you where are you turn on your tracking app. Technology is potentially putting a big monkey wrench in the hobby for those with a SO. So what if anything are you all doing to get around these apps?

There are no easily accessible apps that can mask your location.
I would just turn off your location service during the appointment and place your phone on do not disturb. You would only have your location hidden for an hour or so, you could say that it died!
You don't want to put the provider at risk by having your SO knowing their incall location...

I know a married couple that uses a tracker on each other lol
No way obviously they have no trust in one another.

Everytime she and I are together that means he knows my every move too because she tells him.

+2 lol had a X do this to me. They can even see the battery life on your phn. No way ! Don't do it. Also btw Google if u go to your timeline. It shows everything and everywhere. I recommend going into your settings on Google disabling it.

I busted a SO last year. Grabbed his tablet. Looked at the timeline. Lol. Being it was same email as his phn it showed everything even on a map. How long at every stop.

Just leave the phone that's connected to your family plan at the office, then get a 2ed phone that you use for hobbying.

Always leave your hobby phone at the office unless you are on your way to an appointment.

I have plenty of clients that do this.

If you can’t turn off the “find my iPhone” feature (or whatever they have for Android) then your best bet is to get a burner or an iPad with cellular. If you do the iPad with cellular you can turn on iMessage and get texts. You can also call forward from your original device which is “still at the office.”

But that said, it’s hard but not impossible. With some of the phones you can forward texts and calls to another device. Now, if your SO runs a credit check and finds your other credit card accounts that might be a problem as well.

I’ve got some other suggestions but they might be said best elsewhere. Hope it goes well.
