Why are so few ladies newbie friendly?

Why is it that so few ladies are newbie friendly?

I looked at the list of newbie friendly ladies compiled by fancy in heels and I counted a total of 28 ladies based in Houston that are newbie friendly. When one includes all the ladies advertising here on Oh2, eccie and all the ad boards there obviously are far more than just 28 ladies advertising in the Houston area --the number of ladies advertising has got to be well into the hundreds, possibly between 500 and 1000.

Also a big kudos to those ladies that are newbie friendly

Pretty sure there are way more than 28 newbie friendly ladies.

Anyway, I have been newbie friendly but I am hesitant now to add myself to the list now that I found it cause that might actually change in the near future.

I think there are certain qualifications a provider has to meet to be eligible for that list.

A verified member on the board, a number of reviews within a particular time period, and have the words "newbie friendly" in their bio and/or signature line.

At least, I think those were the rules when Fancy first started it on the other board. May have changed since the transfer here.

Oh! I think the Ladies also have to be "Reference Friendly" as well to make the list. Doesn't do a Gent much good to see a newbie friendly provider if she is not willing to provide references.

I don't know the qualifications, but Fancy is probably sick of me vouching for guys to be verified here. I love new guys, as long as they treat me well and screen as to how I like. And to see me is not biting the bullet hahaha, I'm told I'm pretty hawt!!!

Why are you thinking about changing? I think that gets to the crux of the OPs question.
Based on a cumulative recollection of complaints over the last year to 18 months it sounds to me like screening has just become a PITA. Lots of CL and BP refugees, on the provider side, who have no clue how to handle their business and time wasting lookey loos on the client side. Is that at least a part of it?

From where I sit it seems like there are new unverified guys coming on here pretty regularly, if not every day, asking where they can find XYZ. It's suspicious as hell to me. IMHO a guy needs to share some credible, verifiable info before asking specific questions like that. Otherwise it just looks like LE fishing for low hanging fruit. I'm damn sure not sharing anything with these guys who do that.

If you want my opinion, yes there does seem to be more unverified gents asking specific questions. I don't think this indicates any rise of LE presence. LE has always been around and LE also knows better than to navigate around asking questions and making themselves obvious. What I think it really indicates is that with the dramatic changes we have seen in websites, that a lot people don't know where to go or what to do. You even still see occasional posts on the other site where ladies are asking where to place an ad. There is no one giving direction regarding what is going on if you're a newbit. There used to be stickies that gave advice for newbies on how to contact ladies, stickies on legal advice, hygiene, how to write reviews, etc.

All that is gone now and this site over here just really got rolling.

So basically the new folks that are showing up nowadays are asking weird questions cause there is no one providing helpful info.

And everyone is on edge.

OP, there are tons of newbie friendly ladies out there, I am sure. Don't assume because they are not on a list or don't post it in an ad that you cannot contact them. Just find a lady you wanna see and send her a message and ask. The worst she can say is no. Just don't ask weird questions, lol.

Browse around. READ the profiles. FOLLOW instructions.

If the Lady you wish to see has a screening process that does not require references, she is technically Newbie Friendly.

Just be prepared to give personal information if you don't have references.


Honestly, I would rather screen without references. It takes less time and the responsibility to keep myself safe rests solely on myself.
The only person I know for a fact that I can trust lol

I contacted one lady a few weeks ago and she replied that I needed to send her at least two references but she preferred three. I replied back that I do not think that she understands the term "newbie". She cussed me out and told me never to contact her again.
The aggravation for me is that I have been hobbying since before many of these ladies were born but due to a major back injury years ago I had to withdraw .
Now I find it almost impossible to connect with anyone. I'm not whining. I am just stating some facts.

Sorry, I wasn't even thinking about your impending retirement *sad face* when I asked that question.

The rest of your answer makes sense as well. There have been times in recent months that someone asked a question and my first reaction was to say "read the sticky"... I'm not inclined to go about taking the time to give specific answers even to less than weird questions so it does leave a lot of newbies out in the cold.

TBH your reply back escalated the situation rather than making her comfortable. Of course she told you to fuck off.
I don't know the whole situation, the whole conversation or the provider but perhaps, if you had replied differently, she might have gotten a different vibe and been willing to work on alternative screening if she had felt you weren't trying to be a dick.
I'm not saying you were trying to be a dick but as CVK said above, everyone is on edge and it seems providers are spring loaded when it comes to guys setting them off. It's getting worse. What's that saying about honey and vinegar and flies?

In addition to the obvious, i.e, potential LE or just plain dangerous, the general cluelessness of some newbies may be another reason.

BTW, same holds true for a newbie provider. Sure, it may exciting being the first client but you have no idea what you're getting into - not just from level of service but also her lack of experience may, inadvertently, put you in a risky or embarrassing situation. This doesn't apply to all newbies, both hobbyists and providers. Some do their research, read, learn and figure things out. And others ask questions that leave you scratching your head and wondering WTF, you couldn't figure that out?

She understood what "newbie" meant. And i wouldve asked for the same thing. If you have no recent references from a verified provider in 2019 yes you are a newbie. It doesnt matter if youve seen providers in 1986....no references...youre a newbie.


And to youre point you basically insulted her assuming that she didnt know what that term meant.


Im newbie friendly. I screen everybody if no recent references are available. :)
