    Question Baton Rouge Soul Food

What's your favorite soul food spot in Baton Rouge? Dorothy's Soul Food Kitchen was suggested to me. Hole in the wall places like that always have the best food! I'm up for fancier restaurants or ones with table service too. Bonus points for ones that are open past 7 pm.

Don't know about soul food, but Ruffinos, Parins and Mike Anderson's are a few go to restaurants for me. I'm sure I spelled them wrong lol.

Thanks for the suggestions Kimberly. I went to this place Elsie's Plate and Pie which had delicious comfort food. It wasn't exactly soul food but I enjoyed it all the same.
