In society people don't understand us. I go home and I'm in a different mode, kinda like "I worked today". And in the hobby after 8 years I've thought about dating a client once or twice, but after meeting someone who pays for your time things are different. But I have always been better in a relationship than single. I don't want to hide or ignore my life, just have it understood or respected as a job. I know that adult workers are typically cleaner than civilian women, we take care of the home fires, and I am a true spoiler. OMG. I have struggled with this for YEARS.... I think my biggest mistake was taking back someone because they over 10 plus years have seen me grow as a person and in the hobby. It was my comfort zone, but in the end he turned it around and used it as a verbal weapon when angry. It is very hard to date in the hobby. I dont think I would consider dating a client but I am always down for long term mutually beneficial relationships. I want to leave the hobby at the front door when I come home. I tend to meet people when Im "off the clock" at places I frequent that have NO idea I am a provider.

I do have a RW job so its always a great cover story for times when Im "Unavailable"

You aint ever lied. My RL s/o went so far to if I wore a maxi dress to ask me if I had a slip on so nobody would "see my monkey" lmao... I was like well... thank goodness he didnt have access to here Lmao.... Funny part is I was honest from the time he met me. He changed over time. It really sucked. I think that all things come to a end and you have to figure out whats more important to you. Dating is complicated enough these days!

I personally would find it odd that I'm waiting 2 month b4 any action considering the hobby. Personally I think if you want to have sex with someone, do so. That time frame will probably push away 85% of guys because of your wait period and profession. But there's that 15% that will be open to it. When I first got into the hobby around 2008, I would've never considered trying to date a provider. But then I spent time with a provider that I actually considered dating.
