Yup! Prosecco is an excellent high quality but less expensive alternative for those who like champagne but want to try something similar but yet distinctly different by way of Italy. Not everyone is into hard liquor. One of the reasons I would ocassionally lurk on eccie and other boards....To discover the likes and dislikes of companions. Sharing a libation is a good way to break the ice over conversation. Besides, it's always nice to arrive bearing gifts.

Bourbon whiskey my vice. Eagle rare the best to have neat. Can't really find it in dfw often. I make trips to new Orleans and get a case or two each visit
