Speaking from personal experience, it feels awesome to get news like that. I got my good news on the first of November. Here's to wishing you good health and continuous recovery!!

To all of those fighting this crap (and winning), YAY! I am still in the middle of a fight with Parotid (salivary) gland CA. Undergoing immunotherapy and Radiotherapy. Surgery was hell, massive scar left side of face/neck. Numb areas around the ear and neck. Taste buds shot to hell thanks to radiation (ONLY 7 more treatments) then immunotherapy restarts. Yay excessive weight loss (not recommended method...lol but 20 plus pounds in 10 weeks). My joke with the scar is this: The other guy brought a knife to gun fight. I brought a gun and friends. This is how I look (re: the scar), you can find how he looks on www.findagrave.com.
Fight the good fight and beat this crap!
I intend to live forever or die trying.

Every day above dirt is a beautiful day. I try not to let petty, insignificant things (and people) ruin any day for me. Nobody knows which day will be their last, so make every day count and every day filled with wonder and joy. Life is just too short.
