Whether this is good or bad is a matter of opinion. Your thoughts?

hey, it's a recession. i started out as a madame but most of the girls i was managing (not all - some of you guys know & love a couple of my girls) were so stupid (and such horrible actresses) i thought, 'hey, i could make a killing if i put MYSELF in their position'. plus broke-ness was setting in due to the economy. fast forward a season and here i am, an independent provider/every-now-&-then dancer. i must admit, dancing is hard to get away from once you get used to making the same amount of money that you are used to making every 2 weeks in one night.

I guess all of us here are lucky to be co-involved in a hobby / enterprise which is funded by one of the last stashes of discretionary spending.... LUST !

I think, the beauty of the hobby, from the girl's perspective is.... their business BOOMS during great economic times.... but if they have their act together and provide unquestionably fine service.... their business will SURVIVE the downturns too... Because the successful dawgs are still gonna play 'till the end!
A Match Made In Purgatory, I suppose!! :P

Diana.... after watching you slam that fine little ass of your's into the floor and bounce it right back up during your splits.... I said to myself.... "Yep that girl carries around her very own moneymaker" , wherever she goes!! DAYUM !! B)

    Enjoy,

    Giz

I'm agreeing with DD... it kinda sucks when you work a job that you have to answer to a boss and do their bidding whether you like it or not for fear of losing your job and it takes 80 hours or more in a two week pay period to get what you can make either dancing or entertaining like we do and make it in 4 hours in one night... and if something happens and you have to go back to that previous life, you tend to lose your perspective on everything. This hobby has it's ups and downs definitely. And like Giz said.. if what a girl provides is quality, she has the potential to survive just about any economic hardship... I always say I should have been doing this when I was 20 something, but I would not have appreciated the money then like I do now. Oh.. and Michelle D'Milf DOES NOT strip or dance.. lol.. If I did, I know I'd be making a killing because they would be paying me to put my clothes back on!!!

Hell, I was thinking about dusting off the dance moves, and going back to being a Male Dancer and doing some internet web work. lol Its not really me, but the fringe benefits were tremendous. LOL

I started as an exotic dancer, but love being a companion so much more. It requires a lot more work on a "business" level, but less physical exertion and of a much more pleasurable kind! Working 7-9 hr shifts in 6 to 8 inch heels under sleazy management with catty girls sucks. The money isn't that great, it's definitly up and down. I adore the freedom and travel companionship affords me. I was too much of a "nice girl" to be a very succesful stripper, though I loved being naked and giving lap dances (they made my panties wet ;) ). I'm very affectionate and passionate, so it was such an easy transition to becoming a GFE. I do love combining the art of erotic dancing with my GFE sessions though, it's a great form of foreplay.

I haven't read the article yet, but would say YES this bad economy is bringing girls into the sex industry, be it stripping, escorting, web cam shows, ect. I have a LOT of dancer girl friends. When I first started they kind of raised their eyebrows at my job, but now are very curious, asking questions. Some would love to work with me. I've helped out a few, but have yet to find the girls who are serious about their job. I think most have watched Pretty Woman a few too many times because most don't want to kiss. With everything the media has portrayed about high end escorting, making it seem very glamourous gives them false expectations. It simply isn't enough being a beautiful girl, putting up pictures and charging a premium pice. It takes a lot of business sense to handle your schedule, marketing/advertising, verification, travel plans, ect.

I've considered adding a page to my website for my girlfriends are serious about being a GFE companion. I think having help with the details and only having to focus on proving an exceptional service is what some girls need and/or want. I'd also love to be one to make sure the transition goes smoothly for them. There was so much I didn't know when I first started, and would love to pass down some of my wisdom!

    xoxo Sophie

Well Sophie, you've taken my little pasting of a link to a different level.

    First, thanks for the pics.

Second, please visit us. I'd especially like to see you in the SW corner of our little state but if you come most of the way I can certainly appreciate a need for me to close the gap.

Most on the subject, I've seen a few talented ladies who lacked the business sense or desire to make this work. I know one respected provider who tried to take a few girls under her wing. Judging by the difficulties she discussed with me, it is a hard task teaching some dancers about taking care of the client.
