Wet Platinum is by far the best and most long-lasting lube out there. It is, however, a silicone-based product. It is not "greasy", but it is somewhat difficult to wash off. Rather than wash it off, you can just rub it in. (It will make your freshly-shaved balls silky smooth!) I would assume that other silicone-based lubes are of similar quality and characteristics. Water-based products, such as the regular Wet products, are not quite as good. They're just as slippery, but they evaporate and tend to get a bit sticky. Consequently, you must constantly re-apply the lube (or augment the lube with saliva) to keep it slippery. The trade-off is that it washes off quickly and easily with water.

There is remarkably wide selection of "personal lubricants" available at the corner drugstore, and the prices are considerably less that you'll pay at an "adult novelty" store.

Modern lube technology is a wonderful thing. However, I must say that, as result of my youthful indulgences, I still have an auto-erotic response to the smell of Jergen's Lotion.

Maybe I'm strange, but I have found that a long session of DATY puts a lot of saliva into the proper place, as well as produces natural lube. I guess some ladies just don't get very wet, or maybe this question is more directed for Greek use.

It doesn&#39;t matter how turned on I am -- once latex enters the picture I go dry as a bone. And since latex is non-optional, factory-made lube is required. Besides, ain&#39;t nothing wrong with adding in a little extra of the slippery stuff; more than necessary can&#39;t hurt, but the opposite can. ;)

While my traditional pick and default lube is plain water-based Astroglide, I also like Wet Platinum and Jo H2O.

The only lubes I really hate are the flavored ones (eccch) and anything that&#39;s "warming" or "tingling". To me it feels more like "burning" and "oh my god the pain, the incredible firey pain". No thanks!

I used to be an astroglide fan but was always annoyed at having to re-wet the lube with saliva after it starts to get sticky/tacky. Or it having been washed away when spending time with ladies who tend to gush a bit when climaxing. I discovered WET platinum somewhat recently and now I wouldn&#39;t leave home without it ;)

I so agree with you here, flavored, hot or tingly, keep it away from me! Now usually I am really wet, but when latex comes into it, I will dry up some too. Something I have found that is good despite how cheep it is...and you only have to use a little to get things started again...plus it does not taste bad at all, is slightly thicker so does not just run off. It&#39;s the Wally world store brand that is most like KY gelly...I just love that stuff.
