Thread: Google cache useful for checking reviews

    FYI, this may be obvious to everyone but I thought I'd mention it just in case...
    I've been able to use the google cache to at least see the non-BCD info for reviews up through early February. At least that tells me who has reviews, and then I can PM the reviewer (if they are on this new site) just to get an OK, or answer a specific question about a specific provider.

    For example, a search on

    aspd providername dallas

    shows me some aspd links. The main, hot, link doesn't work since it's down, but the "Cached" button shows what the non-BCD portion of the page looked like when Google last crawled it. And at least then I can get a sense of how many reviews and who did them.

    Thanks for the tip. I've used wayback machine a few times for older stuff. Anything beats flying blind if she's not somebody you already know.
