question about posting an ad...

<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">I believe before the “HOME2 Welcome Wagon” was placed under construction, CK had posted that the providers could post ads and that it would be done under the honor system of 7 days per ad. I don’t recall anything mentioned about the ads from here being affecting the ad on the main site. So I think you could post both here and there at the same time, but you would still be limited to posting one ad per week per site.

I’d say go for it! Besides, this is the backup site in case (heaven forbid) something happens on the main site. This way you would be covered with an ad on both sites. ;) </span>

Posting here will not affect what is posted on ASPD.

This is a contingency site, and since the audience here is very restricted (just social list members so far) an ad here cannot be considered as anything but here.

And, if and when we get aspd back on track, we won&#39;t need ad forums here at all because what will be here will be mainly just the social stuff.

However, as we explore this site&#39;s capabilities, I&#39;ve already found some features that I know we will want to have on the refreshed aspd, and, in fact, likely those features will be there in the new software down the line.

Has anyone tried the "photo album" function here yet? That&#39;s definitely something I think many might want to see back on aspd.

well I am all confused and trying to get used to this site... I am not sure How i will get my pic on here and profile done. how does all this work if there is no ads? just curious... lol
what are the guidlines? like can we give our numbers and emails for contacts?

<span style="color:#FFA500">Hello Ms Love, Ads CAN be posted in the Provider Section and I believe they are encouraged. One ad per 7 days.

As for uploading the pic, you can go to your profile (you can get there by clicking the "My Controls" on the top of the page) and on the left side there are options and one is for the avatar and another one is for the personal pic. Once your there you can upload the pic from your computer.

<span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS">The Photo Album...I looked for it last night too and the only thing that I could find is the “Change Personal Photo” that is under “My Controls” button. I am guessing that is what CK was talking about. It seems like we can have an avatar and also a personal photo. Two photos instead of just one like on the main site. I’m still trying to figure what pic to place there.

Hi everyone, it is good go be on here. I have been so frustrated with aspd, I can&#39;t receive any pms on there, so I feel I have been out of touch with everyone. I just got in here today, so I am still working my way around.
