Last night the wind took my garbage can & she donated it to another family.
I'm wondering if the coastal areas will still resume business as usual for "cocktail parties or will the "hardhats"
be too busy rebuilding a village?

I'm glad you are ok
This made me lol. Not sure about you but I usually call my last ex my garbage can but I am crude and lowbrow. So some idiot took my garbage can a few years back thank God but the cans I keep my refuse from my home also blew away in Zeta. I found one down the street a few hundred yards in a neighbors yard and the lid was with it still. So I felt like I won the Zeta lottery.
I dont know about the rest of the coast but my end on the west side of the bay bridge got hit pretty hard. There are a lot of areas without power still. Lots of trees down lots of roof damage and a lot of power lines down including some of the main transmission lines going down 90. It will take awhile for them to get all that straightened back out. I am not sure when the casinos and hotels will be back open. I think if I were a lady I would hold off for a visit until things get settled back down to normal
Hey if anyone see's my trash can tell her Basscat says good riddance and whatever you do please do not return it
Thanks Basscat for the status report.
Some garbage cans can be cheap, but my gosh, some I've seen at ACE Hardware are almost $100 piece. Good gosh, that much for a garbage can, who can afford that. Sure hope you didn't have one of those, Ms. U! But glad u are ok.
Guitar,
we can go to Ace & daydream about those expensive cans.
