Yeah, you can pull up and they'll come to you, but I guess it's a struggle to get anything to actually happen.

I haven't done the street thing for a couple of years but never paid for than $20 for a BJ. And Sam Rayburn is a terrible place to go to. LE is there all the time, not to mention the dealers.

Where would you recommend?

That depends on whether it's day or night. I used to go to the other side of 35 to an apartment complex and find a secluded spot or someplace not too obvious. The key thing is to remember it's about your own safety. I don't know if it's still happening but there was video surveillance on Powell itself so you should get away from there.

Saw a report last week of Police doing sting operations in that area last week. Be careful if you keep going down in that area...

- don't park where they tell you to
-don't give them any money up front or even show any money
-make sure your glove compartment is locked and there is NOTHING loose that can be grabbed.
-if their hands are not visible assume their hands are feeling around for something to steal, they will ask for it from behind just so you can't see their hands while they are rifling around for something to steal.
-if you have a wedding band or decent watch take them off and lock them away.
-if you have a jacket in your car assume that it will get riflled through

You don't understand the thrill of the risk in street walkers. People do it for excitment. It's not for me, but I understand why. It's not about saving a buck, it's the thrill of picking up a stranger and/ or getting busy in public and maybe getting caught.

Actually for me it's about the convenience of being able to look before I pick. It's why I also really enjoy the strip clubs even though that's hard to get extras in as well.
