Thread sorting issues on some but not all forums

I've had this issue since I came back in June, some forums are automatically resetting their sorting to Beginning > Thread Title > Ascending. I need this to be Beginning > Last Post Time > Descending for every forum.
This is super annoying since it seems to only affect the posts in my home forums of New Orleans... I change the settings at the bottom of the page, and it's good until I navigate away and back to that forum.
I've cleared cookies, changed the options under my account general settings, however that only seems to affect what order the posts on the threads are in.
but nothing I've tried seems to be correcting it for the New Orleans forum.

We don't know why, but sometimes the forum thread settings seem to change all by their lonesome.

All forums are usually set with "all threads" showing, with the latest post at the top and the rest descending from there.

Considering the current traffic loads on our host platform, I'm surprised that yours is the first report of late, and we appreciate you calling it to our attention.

Adjustments are now in place, and fingers XXX'd that no more hiccups are in store.

Looks like some of the forums with the problem are fixed such as CoEd and Welcome, others are not. Just in the New Orleans section though. Haven't seen it elsewhere.

I was getting that thread sort issue too.

In the Kansas City forum it happens on the companion ads and welcome wagon. All others seem to sort properly.

This has started happening again in the New Orleans forums. Some are defaulting by title ascending, others seem to be a random mix. Making it tough to see what's what without a bunch of extra clicks.
Please help!!!
