Seasonal holiday costumes

Dress for the appropriate weather outdoors, and indoors; nothing too sexy please.

Rules for this event are the same as usual:

We don't share information with folks who were not there.

We don't discuss "hobby" stuff.

We are all **well vouched and verified** companions and hobbyists who respect each other on and off the boards**

Rules are simple:

Expect respect; give it in return.

No hobby talk, rates, services, etc. But you can let people know how to reach you.

We do wear name tags (disguised) and we don't talk to anyone not wearing a name tag.

Zero cover charge; it is "pay as you go" or get a tab.

Full bar and kitchen.

Security

Only those with a current invitation** from ck1942 may attend.

For the security of all attending, the social invite protocol makes zero allowances for un-invited “drop in’s” -- even if they are well known in the hobby community and have attended previous events.

Current invites are always mandatory.

The social committee requires all attendees to be in good standing, meaning they respect each other on and off the board; bad behavior anywhere means no invitation!

I will have to depart between 6 and 6:30 for an Executive Committee meeting that happens near Wurzbach and IH10, but I will be there! With beads on? Oh, and maybe one boot.

Gents, if you are not already on the guest list, immediately follow the directions below:

Please ask at least two companions to pm ck1942 directly confirming sessions within the past 90 days. Note that events are geared for “active” hobbyists who play at least every month or two and who intend to actively attend events on a regular basis, meaning at least every other month or two.

What the companions need to tell me:

1)You respected all of their rules, and
2)They believe you will respect the event rules.

Getting close to deadline for cementing in the private venue and momentum has built to the point we have surpassed that fine line of go - no go.

No doubt in my mind that the weather forecast on Tuesday:

Sunny and 70 degrees

will have a great bearing on attendance.

Traffic! Always another bump in the road (so to speak).

But, if folks can manage to get there close to the 4 p.m. opening

it will be an even greater event!

Even though the deadline for vouching is 5 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 21st, the social committee will continue processing and sending invites over the weekend.

Invites are now in process for all pre-vouched gents and ladies.
