23 women arrested. No men?
ohhhhh Noooo. My heart hurts for them & their family.:sweettoo:
Try reading the article. I guess you missed this. "...some were also held on other, unrelated offenses. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the women ranged in age from 19-36 years of age and that all but one lived in the Fort Worth area. The Star-T also said one man was taken into custody as well."
Dayyum! What a kill-joy. Can't have any fun any more without getting into trouble. Guess that's part of what happens nowadays when the municipalities don't get there cut ($$$) of the action (send Vinnie and the boys out for a visit/shakedown)??? I'm always glad when big brother is looking out for me and making decisions as if they know better what's best for me (sarcasm off)... It's a wonder how I've survived all these decades on my own.... WTF
Last week they were calling girls on outcalls coming outside room door on Westside of Fort Worth asking if u were being forced into prostitution and sending u across the hall to these ladies who run a program trying to get ladies to change your life....
Definitely screen do your research. Google numbers. If no trail or proof of provider PASS Because they are definitely out here cracking down
What a load of bullshit. Nobody knows better how to deny women than a bunch of repugnicans.
Back on topic. I still find it repulsive that the gestapo would arrest 23 women and only one man. Fighting human trafficking? Give me a break.
Have a safe and happy Friday.
Fwpd needs to take a cue from their counterparts to the east. In the article they claim to be fighting child trafficking, yet they arrest the women they supposedly are assisting. Dallas vice is publicizing the fact that when they raid the spas, they aren’t arresting the ladies working there.
It would be wonderful if somehow this anti-trafficking effort would lead to decriminalization of sex work...keep going after the pimps, but let the ladies earn a living. Alas, that doesn’t seem to be the case, at least in cowtown.
I knew it when they tried to get me!!
I went there and seen them bring a lady outside so I called the
Guy and told him there was no where to park
And to meet me on the backside
He wouldn’t do it
And kept ignoring my questions so I left
Then get to a friend hotel and she was there
I was like smart lucky me
The drug war strategy revisioned is now the war on trafficking: Give a name, turn-in your clients and colleagues instead of jail. The store front infrastructure of prostitution hides in plain sight and is able to do so because of the revenue it generates on many levels to include business licenses as well as political contributions to help install law makers and judges sypathetic to business objectives. The infrastructure remains in place to facilitate sustainable growth followed by a harvest of low hanging fruit (low level pimps and ******s) who talk too much, lack digital literacy or have inadequate screening processes.
In in the end, legalization rather than decriminization will probable occur because it is profitable, ******s are easier prey than low level drug dealers and the infrastructure is more sustainable allowing many different LE agencies to get a bite at the apple and share in the ill-gotten bounty. Change my mind.
FWPD luring criminal activity to the Hotel where guest are put at potential risk is a major lawsuit waiting to happen.
FW has enough lawsuits in the hopper why encourage more just to make misdemeanor prostitution arrest.
If I see LE in the process of an undercover sting at a Hotel like the Radisson I will immediately check in for an overnight stay and when it is confirmed they were luring criminal activity to the Hotel with permission of the Hotel I will call a Lawyer the very next day and have him file a suit against the Hotel. The Radsisson will settle this out of court quick and fast with 5-10K in my pocket.
Super 8 and similar places like that are known for criminal activity but you check into a Radisson you are not expecting Hotel management working with LE to lure pimps to the Hotel where you and your family are sleeping.
Radisson give me my 5K and I sign the NDA and we all go away happy.
Actually, the way it usually works is the hotel recognizes it has a problem and invites law enforcement end.
I knew a guy in the hotel business who years ago told me: “you always like to have a ****** or two hanging out in the bar at night. It drives up the liquor receipts. But once you get too many, you start losing clientele”.
The ‘sex trafficking’ busts have been going on for at least 5 years. There was federal funding given to local PD’s to ‘eliminate trafficking. It’s stupid because the majority of ladies are not trafficked - and the busts do nothing to reduce *actual* trafficking which is much harder to find. But some dumbass in DC thought it was a good idea.
