GFE and IOP terminology

Hello all. I am curious and wanted see if there is any openness for a discussion about the terms GFE and IOP. I see many people use the term but I can't find a single standard for what it means. Also I have seen them used like " I am a GFE with lots of IOP" but in other posts I have seen "not a GFE but plenty of IOP"

I am trying to navigate the waters and see if there are common understandings for what they mean. Perhaps thue mean different things to people and something you have to work out one on one.

As always thanks for chatting and your input to helping advance my understanding.

Others will be more specific but generally GFE is a set of activities and IOP is an attitude indicating that she enjoys the activities. It let me suggest that you send msg to the provider indicating what you enjoy and ask if she thinks that time together would work, be fun. Provide details and expectations. If you enjoy kissing and she doesn’t it’s a miss

Not GFE usually means CBJ, no kissing, or both, but it could include no cuddling, no DATY, only SSOG, or not willing to try a variety of positions. But BBBJ and kissing are the two primary activities IMHO.

Question for the OP: you saw ads where the girl described herself as high IOP? To me, the I in the IOP is the most important fact. Chicks in the pornos who seem like they are playing a sound track that goes "Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah" for 30 straight minutes aren't fooling anyone. To me, IOP means they would fool Penn and Teller.

When I came into the hobby, many providers still had a courtesan orientation. They truly strove to make your time with them memorable. Definitely not a "use my parts and get out" experience. They met you at the door with a smile. I remember one occasion when a lady that I had seen a few times left me a clever surprise.

I was in the practice of of putting condoms, lubricants, etc. into a small box that I took with me to appointments. She was aware of that. After one appointment, I got home and went to "restock" supplies, but when I opened the box, there was a pair of black lace panties with her... scent... on them... omigosh...

I can't tell you how many times I have reflected on that moment with a smile.

So. GFE, IOP... that's what it look like. Or should. It used too, anyway.

Thank you for the information and your question gets to my information request. Yes I visited a provider that said she was not a GFE but had a lot IOP. Here is my confusion, as others stated so nicely the former is a service level and in this case it was a lack of kissing, cuddling, and daty. The latter being an attitude but it was difficult to have the attitude with so many restrictions. Im a more age experienced person, So for me it is these things the IoP, that add to the meeting. In the visit I reference the IOP was lacking, or better yet mechanical.

This led me to ask if there is a difference or are they actually connected. Again I acknowledge I'm new to board activities and trying to work on the verification and a more substantiated profile but while doing so I would like to have fun experiences and have not just check blocks like I'm completing a checklist.

Personally, if a lady advertises IOP, then to me that means no IOP. If a lady has believable IOP, then her advertisement will give you an idea of what drenches her panties.

If the provider doesn’t have full GFE in her ad, I don’t even attempt to see them. Why?

A lot of providers have to many off limits and rules nowadays.

They don’t want to kiss.
They don’t want daty
They don’t want bbbj
They don’t want certain positions
They don’t want this or that
They want you to come in and they will lay on their back spread their legs and want you to slide it in and hurry up and get off and leave. (Most not all)

That’s a big reason why I can’t justify their ridiculous prices.

I will always only go for full GFE because with full GFE the good IOP comes with it.

all generalities are false ... including this one. but i'll throw this out. imo the best gfe/iop/ioa (illusion of affection) is available from mature ladies. i see some value in ben franklin's (not the same one that providers are fond of ... but the same one, kinda) letter to a young man (https://www.laphamsquarterly.org/ero...se-older-women). i also tend to think that ladies who value longer sessions provide the sort of session i enjoy. a lady who says things like "i enjoy kissing" and "lets cuddle beneath the blankets" gets my attention. Some of have been around since before there was such a thing as "GFE". Ladies of the Night never (rarely if ever) kissed back in the '80's(?) and before that for all time.

The reason that there was this "known rule" was that it might/could/would lead to falling for each other.

I recall vividly that this new thing called the "Girl Friend Experience" surfaced. (Someone help me with the approximate timing (~ late '80's?)). I'm sure to get business and kind of move us into a new frontier the concept of "GFE" surfaced. I remember that time well. All of a sudden a girl would kiss during a session - especially if you selected someone advertising GFE. It really was a major shift in the hobby experience.

Now, to this day, we can see in posts where guys/gals report issues of "falling" for the other... and all the challenges/issues it presents. (I don't think it's rampant... just some (guys in particular) can't help themselves (ladies too?).) I think prior to the evolution of "GFE" this was much less of an issue or discussion point.

Without that, everything was/is more "transactional" to some extent.

It certainly can still be very fun without "GFE". I have a favorite or two right now that only do LFK, but are still awfully fun to hang out with!! That's certainly due to their high "IOP"....

And, speaking from VERY personal experience, if they research you they will be burning rubber to get to your front door. Tire rubber that is. Not :condom: rubber. :rolling:

You'd be shocked to know about the vast number of a providers (mostly not here) that do not offer what the guys call GFE.

IME Light and deep refer to the tongue's penetration in the other's mouth.
DFK refers to the tongue being well inside. Light is more ambiguous: It refers to lips-to-lips kissing, sometimes with a tongue licking the outside of the other's lips, sometimes not.

What is IOP?
