At the "Circuit of The Americas" Formula 1 track in Austin are weekly "Bike Night" races for bicycle lovers. Anyone can attend - kids too.
Registration is closing on Monday midnight. $5 a person. 5pm-8pm. No spectators, no bike rental on-site. But, tailgating parties and soccer games right after and gorgeous views of sunset!

Yeah. But, it's not the same, as showing up with someone. Carpooling there with someone. And stopping to grab a bite with someone afterward.
Company is only $400 per hour. That sounds like fun

Today's ride is canceled, because of this terrible cold front... This ride will be on Thursday, October 29th.
Wish I had time for something like this. Sounds like a great way to have fun while exercising and making new friends.

They open up every year for this. There are some serious inclines but it is a lot of fun. I have issues with a mask so everything this year is on hold. (Riding inside using Zwift.) I can't wait for Corona to be gone so I can ride it again. I have a more aerodynamic bike now and am a lot stronger so I can't wait to go again.
DFD51, have an old bike that was pretty aero for its day (so much so it was outlawed from international racing.) Wish I was in better shape.
I ride a handcycle so its one hell of a workout. I really wish I was able to ride an upright bike. They are a lot easer.Quote:
