Us ladies have been very vocal about losing advertising avenues. But how do you gentlemen feel it is affecting how you will hobby going forward? Do you need reviews before seeing a lady, but would you feel uncomfortable writing reviews now?
Not that you asked for a companion's opinion, but with the current legal shenanigans brewing, numerous fellows are expressing reluctance to write amorous accounts now, and some ladies don't want graphic tales of tail anymore, either.
Makes it very difficult with sites vanishing. Many ladies lost their reviews and have little way of proving they are well-established and reputable, and those who depend on a fellow's reviews for research or promotion are out of luck. Gentlemen may have more difficulty with screening after losing their online histories.
There's a widening ripple effect for everyone.
I've always struggled with not having a ton of reviews because the guys that want to see me (usually for dinner dates) like to read reviews but do not like to write reviews. I did save mine from Eccie and they are available upon request.
I will limit my play time to 3 ladies, a couple of my go to rub and tug shacks, and an occasional visit to the strip clubs. Might write reviews on the tug shacks, but probably not the ladies.
like to see a couple of reviews first..
just so i know what to expect.
One good thing (silver lining around a very dark cloud) about my preferred review site going dark, is that my 100 reviews went along with it. While that helped me pass screening with a lot of ladies, I want to see how this new law shakes out before I have that kind of profile again.
I’m ok with getting a simple recommendation from guys I trust, vs detailed reviews that may be made up anyway.
I'm sure we can't be on here advertising and then also have a "no review" policy.... but in the current climate I see a lot of value in not being reviewed and just letting word of mouth catch on.
I thinck its going to negatively affect the ladies more than the ********s. Some are just too dependent on reading the reviews. I had over 300 on icky, some I actually saw the lady. But I also thinck this siesta will be challenged in the courts. This is far from over ... my provider persona wants her reviews back.
I generally do kinky/fetish sessions mostly anyway, so my shenanigans often aren't even illegal
to begin with. The hard part without online boards is finding/screening both for mutual interests
and dependability.
It was on NPR yesterday, that because Backpage was altering/disguising child sex ads, instead of
blocking or reporting them, that they estimate BP was complicit in 73% of the child trafficking cases
filed worldwide over the last six years. Backpage literally fucked it up for everyone.
I saved contact info on those I've seen already so that's good. I'll miss eccie when it comes to looking for new providers and sharing info on reviews and such. In Ft. Worth the quantity isn't as varied as Dallas so those reviews and info were even more valuable in not wasting time and being safe.
Did BP not have somewhere on the order of 73% of the ****** ad dollars?
That figure has the same credibility as the allegation that 100K trafficed, underage girls were in Dallas for Superbowl weekend. Where there's government money involved, figures swell like the federal deficit.
Now as to SESTA, since almost all my notes and contact info were on my User CP on eccie, I am kinda fucked. Or not fucked.
Losing BP and particularly ECCIE is a gut-punch, no doubt about that, even more so in a small market like I live in (MS-AL-FL Gulf Coast). We had a decent ECCIE presence and so far, very few of those ladies have surfaced. I had 12 or 13 reviews, and I don't like losing those, same goes for being able to read reviews when I'm shopping for someone new. It's particularly irritating when I'm traveling. Locally I have contact information for a few of my regular and long-term ladies, so that's all good, but I'm spending a lot of time in CA lately, and Nightshift is gone too. I'm driving out there next month, and I was planning on hobbying my way across the country and back, going to be a lot harder now. Luckily I made contact with a lady in DWF, my first stop, before the sites went down, so I'm good there. The rest of the trip......not so much.
The thing that irritates me is the blatant stupidity behind the whole thing. They say it's to combat/fight/eliminate trafficking in underage girls (boys too I guess). Bullshit!! I'm as much opposed to victimizing children as anyone on this planet, it's one of the reasons that I pretty much always stuck with 30+ providers, but this will only make things worse for the trafficking victims. It will push the whole thing even deeper into the shadows and in the process impact a lot of adult providers who are depending on this activity for their livelihood. It will make thing LESS safe, not more so. The demand isn't going away, it'll just be riskier now. I've seen this before on a smaller scale when the old SFRedbook website in CA was shut down (seized by the feds) in the early 2000's. Lots of providers were left with only one option back then, they had to go out onto the streets. At least one lady that I used to see regularly when I lived out there was killed as a direct result. I'm sure there were more.
If the goal was truly to reduce or eliminate trafficking, legalization or de-criminalization of prostitution would be the logical choice, but that would not satisfy the puritans and those who ***** for their votes.
Damn!! Now I'm all pissed off!!!
I'm guessing its a political/funding trick. They're lumping all sex work into "trafficking" to try and leverage more dollars in the budget because everyone wants to fund the agencies that are stopping exploitation of underage girls/boys, or anyone forced into servitude. Hell, I'll help that effort myself any way I can. But I'm betting there's not that much actual "trafficking" going on so they pool all sex work into one bucket to make their numbers look higher so they can get bigger budgets, etc.
They are harming their ability to target actual trafficking in my opinion by 1) diluting the issue and confusing run-of-the-mill sex work with exploitive trafficking, and 2) driving that actual trafficking further underground.
If the po po would realize that these sites are self policeing and thru reviews the under age providers would be revealed. Some how a way of outing pimps should be included.
Very tough right now.....200+ reviews vanished! Gone! Hard to screen men without them freaking out....business has slowed....its pretty tough right now id say

Pretty tough right now for all of us....especially us providers....no reviews....hard to trust anything right now on both sides.....thank god for regulars....
It’s going to be rough for a while but things will even back out over time. I think this really hurts the newbies and ladies that weren’t yet established.
Apparently p411 isn’t taking new applications from providers or clients now either. It’s time to show love to your favorites right now
Though the new law has certainly been a damperin the hobby sphere we have to look at a couple things:
1. Major reset to the hobby...a lot of bad blood has tremendously decreased on the public side. Yes there are still those that continue to harass and douche but, we don't have much of that going on especially with the old site trolls.
2. New sites and tools: Twitter has exploded, Switter has become a huge service on bringing a worldwide community.
3. New opportunities: Since the laws passing, I managed to branch out and meet some wonderful and talented ladies that have helped me obtain verified status and p411 oks.
I'm glad I pre screened and chatted with many ladies prior to the old site shutdown. Being prepared hasn't dampen my mood to hobby.
By the letter of the new laws, they are suppose to combat not only trafficking of minors but trafficking in general. Backpage was definitely a trafficked site and the owner even plead guilty to that fact. If Eccie was not a platform for this trafficking, then they really did not have anything to worry about when it came to SESTA. A little before they shut down, the Eccie staff made the decision to delete all the providers and provider profiles under 21 years old, maybe thinking that ONLY girls under 21 are trafficked, which is ridiculous. Eccie was full of pimps and pimped ladies, so, being the platform for pimps to traffick their flock it was, so was the reason for the owner's to pull the plug before LE did. Unfortunately, the non pimped ladies that were providing to pay their bills, put food on their table or whatever doing it of their own free will were also effected.
Being the strip club guy I am with seeing a FS provider every now and then, the new law affected me very little.
as the Chinese Foreign Minister Chou Enlai said, when asked by Henry Kissinger in 1972, what effect the French Revolution had.. "it's too soon to know".
ask the question again, at the end of May, and I can give a solid answer.
Over the past 2.5 years, I think I posted less than 20 reviews on ECCIE even though I had a lot more encounters. I really only posted when I needed to extend PA. I never had a problem with getting verified. But I’m not sure that will work now. I never saved any numbers so it’s going to be hard to ask for references if the provider has not moved onto this site.
Hi, all, been a wee bit busy, but with the many interesting and informative posts above, thought I would pitch in my solo cent so I can be only half way "right" and preserve the other penny to hedge my better judgment.
First off, we can all, I think agree that there has been a great disturbance in the hobbyverse.
Second, maybe we can all agree that despite all previous...and all yet to come
(lower case is intentional
hobbying has been going on for many centuries and ain't gonna cease merely due to a few new laws in a puritan like country. The P as we know it in other nations is allowed, regulated and in some jurisdictions considered almost a very legal industry.
3) none of us knows the full extent, breadth and effectiveness of the new laws, because those ramifications will be determined in court cases yet to come. BP was not much of a court test, imo, since no arguments, no evidence, no witnesses were ever presented in court. If there was allocution of guilt in front of a judge, not seen by me as yet, nor reported in the commercial media.
(to be continued)
4) can we all agree that imposing increase (and enhanced) security in our neck of the hobby woods is a better thing to have than what has been in effect "back when" meaning barely two weeks ago.
I appreciate all of your opinions.
I've noticed that when I receive an email for a potential visit that it NEVER works out. The person won't screen, doesn't have references etc. lots of back and forth emails, time wasted.
Whereas when someone was a member of a board and sent a PM through that board, everything went like clockwork. The boards provide a lot more community and safety than I ever realized and losing some of them has made things really difficult and uncertain.
With p411 now not taking anymore new clients or providers, hobbying really just made things interesting.
Yes, it kinda sucks, but there are almost 2000 providers on p411 here is the Dallas-Ft. Worth area alone, so that is plenty, even if you are one of those one and done kind of guys that sees a provider once, then continue to see different ones. I could care less about them not taking on any more new clients. Also, what I have been told is if you let your account lapse, currently, you will not be able to renew.
It was a good thing for me that I had the contact info of the ladies that I wanted to continue to see who were not on p411 and even those that were kicked off Eccie for being under 21. My biggest hobby activity is going to the strip clubs, of which I am a VIP member of many, so there is really not just one I frequent. The new laws seem to have gotten the clubs to have many new applicants!
As to Lynette's statement about the adult boards, yes, they provided a sense of community of like minded people, although there were the trolls that mucked it up good on the boards that had the real time communcation. What I enjoy about this private board is BOTH the men and ladies have to be verified to gain certain privileges. Some people that were on Eccie have changed their handle name, but from what I can tell, the pimps/facilatators and the "ATTABOY" dick clique club has not made it here and taken it over as they did on Eccie. Hopefully, it will stay that way and we can have a safe, enjoyable community here.
Laws are a changing - you've got Facebook in trouble for sell/giving private info. Youtube took away all gun videos to protect their liability. FDA is cracking down a Kratom which isn't yet illegal, because Pharma controls them. Pharma also is trying to kill the vape market because sales of anti smoking aids is down drastically. P411 is out of Canada / Toronto if I remember correctly, so not subject to US laws.
I agree with above - legalize it and regulate it. Keeps them from raises taxes or heaven forbid the internet sales tax nightmare. With it legal then it would be safer I think. Most of the sex trafficking is through the darkweb and good luck tracking that down. I do agree with the reboot sometimes it needs to be done. I've been around since the old ASPD days.
This site does need to have an option for the ladies to put in more information. I like short lady's and it's not a search function that I can find yet. Reviews are helpful but not really required. I tend to like the providers that give a defined picture of their body. There types for all so don't be shy. Helps me choose. I'm to old and busy to learn how to find lady's on Twitter or whatever.
I will be sticking to ladies I have seen several time before that way I know what to expect.
I might venture to new ladies IF I remember them from other boards. But without posted reviews and limited references it would be tough to see anyone new.
Yes, it does suck, and it is inconvenient, but, anything worth while takes effort.
I did not keep a listing of names and numbers of my favorite girls and 122 reviews on ECCIE, so I guess I will be looking for new adventures...
I have seen 2 new ladies this week that I never even heard of, so that is pretty cool I think.
I am just continuing to learn and post on this new site (New to me), meet new gals, and have some fun...so far so good..!
Happy Hunting Guys,
Moto
Well Wal-Mart closing is good and bad. I loved to come round ( usually messing around lol)
We are good. Trying to help without to much dealing with the idiots that wanted 50 pics and a donkey show to boot.
All this and my time ...for 200?
Yea...well..
The strip clubs are gonna get nailed. Already doing it in nola. Feds in every one.. and the new l.a law says y'all are same as pumps now....all women are victims now there. You ask a stripper for favors...better have your balls ready for the guillotine.. j.s
Annie
P.s we got rid of anyone looking under 25..
And IGNORE THAT YAHOO GROUP.. IT'S OLD.. LOOK AT MY JOIN DATE.. LOL.
NEWSLETTER IS ON SITE. I'LL FIX SOON AS I FIGURE OUT HOW.. :goodnight:
I sent this to a friend a few weeks ago:
I think the sub amps and Studios with known fixed locations are going to see an uptick in business. I think the clubs are going to see an uptick in business, and an uptick and dancers. I think SekingArrangement is going to take off. And I think the guys who get 7 texts a day saying come see me when the rent is due are going to have their phones blowing up even more. I also think that bacchannel communication is going to increase an important, at least over the near term, but I don't know what form it will take or how the contacts will be established. Just about all of my communicating was done through PM's. I have only about 4 email addresses for clients, and only one for a provider.
Other than seeing a few familiar faces on SeekingArrangement; seeing a few ads in the back pages of FW Weekly, and having a friend whose the kind of guy whose phone blows up with "come fuck me" requests even when the rent isn't due, as well as the kind of guy who's doing quite well on SA, I don't have much idea how clients and providers are getting together these days. I'm sure it's a lot harder for a new girl to get in the business. I've found a couple of providers on Snapchat and have a whole bunch of numbers in my TC Provider List, but, as time progresses, it gets riskier to text someone and ask for an appointment.
Maybe an email group, a la the old TSML from the 90s, is one answer. We had several girls back then who did very nicely and were able to stay UTR just by working with clients from the mailing list.
I did stop by a subAMP a couple of weeks ago. It was better than expected, but not as good in either level or quality as Holistic Hottie for about the same price.
I'm thinking of going the SA route, but there I'm competing even more than in the provider world against guys who have a lot more of whatever it is that the women are seeking, whether it's money, available time, personality, sexual skills, whatever.
I think both providers and hobbyists were hurt, especially us guys that only partake every couple of months or so. With P411 closed to new members, there is no forum that can vouch for those of us that are well behaved and respectful of providers. A number of the women I had seen appear to have vanished or perhaps are getting by on long time customers. I Just got stood up by a provider yesterday I had been wanting to see from the old eccie board, and while I am unhappy, I am very reluctant to leave a negative review because I know how hard it is these days.
Guys, understand how stressful this must be on the householder budget of providers. Gals, please understand that established hobbyists are left without the good behavior record we tried hard to establish. We still want and need each other.
wake up everybody, no more sleeping in bed. no more backward thinking, time for thinking ahead. The Hobby World has changed so very much, from what it used to be.. there is so much hatred, war and poverty. the Hobby World won't get much better, if we just let it be. we got to change it yeah, just you and me.
Not working so fine in Nevada.
Groups are trying hard to shut it down and making inroads.
I thought I was good to go after eccie shut down. I had a young lady from eccie that I was seeing when I had the opportunity to. We clicked and she was always available. But she took it really hard when eccie closed. I could see what could potentially happen to a lady like her and I warned her in advance. But I think she has wandered down a very dark road. I helped with some extra donation, but I can only do so much without raising suspicion with the SO. Now , I feel like I need to find someone else and since she was my only girl, I've got no references. I'll see what happens in the next couple weeks when I have an opportunity to play, if I can find somebody willing to take a chance on me.
The future of the hobby will be determined in the next months. I am fortunate in that I maintained my P411 account. I think P411 will continue to accept new members after they find out what transpires in the next months. I have kept a list of the providers that I have seen but many have retired. Guys that have OKs on P411 have a past record to references that they can use for the ladies. The ladies will have a more difficult time unless they have a bunch of regulars. I would suggest that every one stay connected as the internet will slowly strangle the hobby.
Just found this: https://dallas.rubratings.com/?layout=list
Lots of familiar names have migrated their ads over to here. Just quickly, I saw Heidi and Carmen from Hurst, Tarla from Benbrook, and Latina whom I recognized but who didn't post a name. Probably more, but I was looking only quickly at today's (Mother's Day) ads.
