I guess I was channeling my "inner Ed" this morning. I glanced at it at thought it said "Who's on your steaming 'to do' list?"
The last time I saw very many movies with subtitles, it was period kung-fu movies in downtown OKC, with a theater full of Thais, Chinese and Vietnamese folks. They were talking up a storn through the entire movie. But beyond the general din it wasn't too distracting simply because I couldn't understand a word they said. Thus my mind wasn't always trying to process what *they* were saying. I just concentrated on reading the subtitles.
Westworld Season 2 is my current endulgance on HBO NOW, and I am eagerly awaiting Season 2 of Ozark and Season 3 of Stranger Things on netflix.
I don't think I've gotten thru season 1 of Westwood yet, maybe? Since I pipe thru Prime, I don't subscribe every month. I'm a binger. Lololol, I think it took one and half days to get thru Season 2 of Stranger things. Yo, I got the ringrone! I'm also a GOT fan too.
Recently spent a day watching Lost in Space and The week of on Netflix, both good. While LIS ended oddily, I see it as maybe a winner winner with multiple seasons.
Okay boi-z,, Let's all tap into our inner Eds and Include your steaming todo lists if you don't stream, DVR, or OTA to get your viewing pleasure on...
Westworld is an absolute must watch, and I'm caught up. Now I'm catching up on Barry since I watched an episode waiting for westworld on Sunday. I would appreciate suggestions for something to put on my tablet for a flight to new York this week.
Well.... what are your likes/dislikes? What trips yer trigger baby?
Maybe an action or scifi genre. Not opposed to a western either. Just can't do 50 shades on the high chance the person next to me won't appreciate it :)
If you have Netflix, Godless - series, Hateful 8, The Homesman, Hickok, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Cloud Atlas - I bought the book tough read. Damn, just cleared a bunch from my list..
Amazon oh my,, who deleted mah chit??? Okay so Valerian and the city of a thousand planets is all I got atm. Why can I never find what I've watched on amazon? It's like it disappears.
I happen to be fond of shows like John Adams with Laura Linny and Paul Giamatti. It was a great series. Free with Prime.
If you have Netflix the aforementioned Lost In Space was good. You might check out Altered Carbon if you haven’t seen it already. If you liked The Twilight Zone, check out Black Mirror also on Netflix.
I know I added Altered Carbon, but haven't watched. Just saw Black Mirror whilst searching a bit ago. Thanks for the heads up. Always looking for new good stuff!
There was this movie I just watched and can't Remember the name. It was like they were on a space station and got put into an alternate timeline. I''d give it a 3 1/2 stars. But the hand scene was epic! Best part of the movie lol. My problem is I take my nynite med, push play and ultimately fall asleep. Then have no memory of it til I randomly decide to watch it again. Sometimes it takes me 5 or 6 times to get a movie watched. I prefer Netflix at night to go to sleep by. It shuts down quietly and the volume on low is even with not many highs and lows.
That would be the cloverfield paradox, blaze. It was a good movie :)
I rally enjoyed Ozark which also started Laura Linny on Netflix I think.
Yes! That was the movie, I still laugh my ass of that hand and dumb argument with a guy off RT at the same time.. At that moment I wished I could have grabbed that arm and smacked hum uoside the head lolol. So I started Black Mirror and I have no words o/0 It's like disturbingly sureal.
Will check out Ozark too.
Well while your sorting that out, I've got a sicky kiddo home from school and I'm gonna lay here and watch The Last Kingdom on Netflix.
If your like into medieval like shows, totally check out the The White Queen on Prime. Just makes me want to grab a big ole meaty bone and rip into it and chug some wine! Rawrrrr
For some reason I couldn't get in to Marco Polo. The 100 #love Have 3% in list but haven't started.
I'm smack dab in the middle of the BBC's four part adaptation of China Mieville's The City and the City starring David Morressy (the Governor from The Walking Dead). You gotta know how to find it on the sites as it isn't available streaming in the USA at this time.
I'm also watching Westworld and planning to watch Rain on Netflix next.
Also, the incredibly exciting news for me is that Rick and Morty just got renewed for 70 new episodes!
MrA
Nice and comfy in the fur lined fallout shelter it seems ; )
I added rain to the list. Ya I don't know how to do the whole VPN thing? If I did, I might get to watch Star Trek... That's so jacked up that you can be a Netflix subscriber to watch it as long as you don't live in the US or Canada. I ain't paying CBS for their lack luster attempt at streaming content. Nope!
That Governor actor guy is creepy dood to me. But he does play good roles. Rick n Morty,, just don't get it? Didn't get Family guy either. My oldest son said, "mom, your not supposed to". Mmkay. Well time to lay down and find the right episode of Voyager. I've lost count at how many times I've watched the series. Goin to be a stormy night, maybe I should pop in Harry Potter?
Ozark is really good, a must watch!! Cant wait for season 2 of it. I don’t watch much on Prime, mainly Netflix. The OA is a good series, and a docu-reality Netflix original called Shot In The Dark I’ve enjoyed lately.
Oh one show on prime that is good is Sneaky Pete if you haven’t seen it already
OA was good, need to catch up on because I didn't finish. I get so sidetracked and something else yummy comes up.
Just binge watched the first two seasons of The Expanse. Also been keeping up with Westworld and Archer. I really enjoy Legion as well if you're into the whole Marvel universe stuff.
I think I started the expanse but didn't finish it.
I've lost track of the Marvels, hate to watch stuff out of order. Need to wiki and list them.
So I took myself to the gym this morning. Straight to the dark movie room. Then had to back to car to get phone so I'd have a light to see what buttons I was pushing on the machine. They were playing Godzilla. So after 2 yrs of sitting around letting my booty get bigger, I did 45 mins, 0 incline, @3mph which I guess was roughly 2 miles. Go.Slow.Me... lol
I love the dark cool room, totally feeds my sensory deprevation desires. Probably will suck if they play a yucky movie tho.
The Expanse is good, but SyFy has cancelled it after this season. The show creators are shopping it to other networks and distribution outlets. Who knows if it will be picked up for season 4 somewhere else though.
I plan to make time bingeing on the 'Santa Clarita Diet' (never seen one episode) and '13 Reasons Why' season 2 begins soon :).
It totally sucks when they do that and then put it on Netflix. Your like left hanging... I've started to Google shows with only a couple of seasons to see if that's what they've done. I signed a petition on change.org recently to get a show back. I haven't a clue on the ends and outs of series renewels, but it's kinda obvious now that streaming is what people want. I mean a show may fail on a network, then it get binged on Netflix and people scream for more...
It really is nice to be able to click a couple of times and watch without commercials. A few during a show can you snack and potty time. But it's hard to plan your life around TV Guide.
Now all these networks want in on subscription fees. I'd rather wait a year or two to see if it eventually pops up on Netflix or Prime. The only other service I've considered is PBS cuz they gotz good stuff. Then again, I can get some of that for free on Youtube.
Santa Clarita is one of those I have to be in the mood to watch. Brains! Need to catch up on iZombie. She's hot!
Well I just got a Tweet and I think Roseanne is not happy bout something. Must go check out the news!
Wasn't the expanse about the people who thought they were in space, but not. Weird 50s-ish like lifestyle? I watch so much I get confused...
A bigger booty isn't necessarily a bad thing ;) but exercise is always good. If you want to burn more calories though, slow the mph and up the incline.
I didn't know it was cancelled, just binged the first two seasons. I haven't caught up on the 3rd season yet.
I usually will do a program, but it was my first day back. I don't get chin splints, but I want to ease into my incline. I will be happy when I can do 45 mins to an hour on an Arc trainer. I had back away from them before because I'd start smelling amonia after. It drove me insane for quite awhile after leaving the gym.
I wish they would put The Goldbergs and The Middle on Netflix.
I can't tolerate more than 20 minutes of an Arc trainer. My feet go numb from the constant pressure.
Ha ha ha, that's like my butt going numb from being on a recumbent. Awkward tingly feeling when you get up.
Hmmm, butt numbness and butt tingling ....
Ha ha ha ha! Just watched Mastermind on Netflix,, I couldn't stop laughing.
Haven't seen it yet. Will have queue it up for a view! Been watching the Wishmaster series, rofl-y terrible movies. At least the 3rd one's got some nice nudity to look at =D
