"The ups and downs (mostly downs) don't appear to have an immediate solution.
We'll try to remind as many providers and hobbyists as possible about Home2 as done earlier this year following the February crash.
Please remind those established providers and established hobbyists on your personal contact list that you haven't seen here"
so thinking this can not be good. Wonder how long?

Some random error occured, hit refresh and we should be back soon.

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.
An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
Its amazing that any kind of error message we get has misspelled words

well this is weird. ASPD appears to be up, lets me log in, but then won't let me go to any other page.
This happening to anybody else?
it's down right now

LOL
I notice poonicus had posted a sitewide announcement on ASPD about working on the site issues, so the ASPD owners are working on it.
I'd quote the announcement, but I can't get into ASPD right now.
Dead in the water at 2300 18 November... :(

down sob sob :o
Site down on my day off. :(
Seems to be down more than up lately. Maybe ASPD is headed (or already in) for another big crash. I still can't imagine why upgrades haven't been put in place given all the revenue the board generates. Oh well, maybe it really is time to look elsewhere...
Unfortunately, staff remains in the dark. We have heard nothing since yesterday afternoon except that the owners/programmers are working to resolve the issue(s).
Meanwhile, life goes on, and the 50 folks at the SA social last night had a blast.
Austin's event is Wednesday, December 2, a happy hour meet & greet.
Houston's XXXmas meet & greet is Wednesday, December 9 (evening event)
San Antonio's next event will be either Wednesday, Dec. 16, or Thursday, Dec. 17 - to be announced shortly.
We had our first Rio Grande Valley luncheon yesterday and from what I heard it was a success...small but successful.
Believe it or not...the hobby goes on with or without ASPD.

any word on a up time? or are we here for few days?
Does anyone know if this message is a 401 or whatever HTML custom error emssage or vBulletin message. Just wondering to see if the SQL Software/vBulleting is having problems or is it the Hosting site etc;
"Site currently unavailable

One word: Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DFW_Airwolf @ Nov 19 2009, 11:04 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div>I don't have the real inside info, of course - but from what I can guess from context, this is a custom message, I don't think you're even talking to vBulletin when you get this message. Looks to me like a "quick and dirty" simple HTML page that is being served up while the site is being repaired, possibly to avoid letting people try to pound on vBulletin while repair is in progress.Quote:

Up again right now.
FYI - Here's poonicus's 11/15 announcement on ASPD.
"We're aware of the mailer issues as well as a few other issues as we migrate the site to far better hardware. Hang in there, we'll have it straight soon."
Woo hoo... up! But for how long?
the site is up and appears to be running well...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>I can't apologize for things over which we have no control, but please believe many of us do most certainly care a lot....Quote:
