So, you're suggesting that negotiating with a provider is a "perfect pathway" to an arrest!? I'm dead. LOL!

Whatever. :jackoff:

I make it a point never to haggle with anyone who is ultimately going to have her jaw wrapped around my unit. You never know when someone is going to get fed up with the business and decide to go out in a blaze of glory.
Seriously, if I'm especially impressed with someone in a 1-hour session, I might ask what my rate for 2 hours would be. That's about the extent of my haggling. It's almost guaranteed to be a better price point on a per-hour basis, because it effectively reduces her time to get dolled up by half.
Ok, you got it like that. However, in many cases one is either a seller or buyer unless services are provided "free". Free usually means sufficient Goodwill has been generated to cover costs, someone else is paying or one has deferred payment. Moreover, when one initiates a contract for services one usually generates revenue. Just saying.
I still have that 40% off coupon from Brake Check..
As far as I'm concerned, haggling for any luxury service is tacky. If you want a discount, go get a car date.
Men on here seem especially prone to trying to talk down a special, which is its own level of trashy...
I think you're probably going to be right 9 out of 10 times about being rushed after trying to negotiate. It absolutely depends on your approach however. It's not about what you say, it's all about your delivery. There are some girls who will put you straight into a "cheap/broke" category and will have a chip on their shoulder about it. But I also know a lot of clients who would never negotiate with a provider. Even if they can't afford the donation, if a provider says she is willing to negotiate, they won't. I've never understood that, but to each their own. Just be a gentlemen with whatever you're talking to a provider about, and things will hopefully go your way.
I agree with this too.
Another girl above said something about it being trashy or demeaning.
I think all of it, not just this topic but the entirety of discussions, setting up appts, the session itself, etc between men & women depends on how each person handles those situations.
Here are the two primary and major issues that I see in the hobby realm (as it relates to the OP topic or anything else for that matter):
1. An overwhelming majority of men, not all, but a very large portion treat women like products, like they are less than human, or like they are nasty *hores. Or worse they act totally inappropriate to ALL women regardless of whether it's hobby or RL.
2. A majority of women in the hobby, or at least a large portion, again, not all, have this "chip on their shoulder" attitude, or they believe all men act awful, or they see all men as "John's", despicable chauvinist assholes, etc. Or these particular women have simply become very jaded and they do not like what they do anymore (maybe they never did).
Unfortunately likely #1 above ended up leading to #2 above (at least in part). That's my hypothesis. I'm not pointing fingers or saying it's everyone. No no. There are really good dudes & really good women in the hobby. It can be a wonderful place and activity! :twothumbs:
So, when does it blow up into absurd proportions? When does it go public and turn into the equivalent of a terrible TV series drama? That appears to happen most often when #1 and #2 above intersect.
I don't know that there is a "fix" to this predicament other than for men to try to be better men. Realize that the women are just like any other woman and treat them as such. By the same token women also need to realize that not all men are misogynists or chauvinist pigs who see them as "less than a woman" or some type of inanimate object to "play with".
Why haggle instead of just looking for a provider at your price point?
If everyone gets what they want everyone ends up happier.
