the bump in the last couple days were partially due to some people coming back from Cabo on charter flights. WTF.

Idiots.. Same w the Spring Breakers ( great parents they have !! ) . Why that flight was even in the air needs to be questioned. Who is in control? The leadership in this country from the top is just terrible may as well call this Task Force ' Bloody Hands.' If Trump had any sliver of a human being in him he would do the right thing and step down. He is now a modern day ..never mind..
Let's hope he walks. London bookies already taking bets now on a resignation. https://odds.watch/trump
Thanks for the link. As for me at home, 3 weeks supply of everything I need. Set up HEB delivery for 14 April. As to the poll it is the internet, not scientific and of the four cases maybe BL is right someone trolling, perhaps real; one never knows. However I think one should always just assume in a community this small yet large enough for a random sampling we would produce a few positives. However I don't think that is the answer to look at. Everyone here seems to be taking this much more seriously as we should however there is one disturbing vote. We have one vote for ' do anything I want, not worried.'
Perhaps that is a joke and I sincerely hope it is but I doubt it rather I am skeptical we have a member among us who actually might feel that way and IMHO I wouldn't worry about the 4 positive votes, just assume there are + among us; what I would worry about is that one person who feels being a wrecking ball is ok and might be out there not caring what he or she does. That being said I shall sit on the sidelines and wish all good health and on another note...
I saw one girl post elsewhere ( I forget where) that she was getting beat up on price or some guys trying to take advantage of her situation or get free phone sex; something to that tune. I am one who will always believe in negotiating, bid/offers etc. as that is the way I have always rolled in a respectful manner ( in normal times) but what kind of a guy kicks a girl who is down?? Why not just toss your favorite girls a 50 or 100 note; what's $50-$100 to us? I know 50-100 multiplied by several guys each regular has would actually add up and go a long way. If a girl is willing to not work and not risk others maybe reward her for making the sacrifice of lost income with a little handout. It won't kill you. I did my part and as of today I can now say I did my part on this side of the Atlantic. $100 won't kill me and it won't kill you either.
quzi that is a super cool dashboard. thanks for that link. the numbers on this poll are actually giving me some hope that people are staying home and hunkering down. we need to reach 90 % reduction in human contacts and this poll indicates we are somewhat close to that.
I don't know how many times I can say this nicely - please do not bring politics here. If you want to post - great- fabulous- but politics is a no no here on Ourhome2. Okie dokie.
I haven't been outside in two. weeks. In other news I am likely now so pale I'm see through.
Also this can't be substantiated but not everyone who has the virus is getting the test. Basically unless you're bad enough to be hospitalized you have to go well out of your way to get a doctor's orders to take the test. That said I have a friend that works in the field and according to her she has spoken over the phone to over a hundred folks with symptoms but not bad enough to get treated and some of them quite old. There could easily be well into the thousands who are sick with it and many more who as passively carrying it.
This is actually good news. It means that the majority of people who get it are going to be experiencing just a viral respiratory infection. Now that sucks a lot but it's not nearly as deadly as current numbers suggest. That coupled with the recent studies coming out of France and elsewhere with enormous success rates for a combo of HydroxyChlorquine and Azithromyacin I think we'll be okay. Seriously there was study where 78 of 80 of severe cases completely recovered after a 5 day course. We should still be careful and considerate and keep to ourselves for now but this is by no means the end of the world.

Travis seems to be doing well. As explained to me the methodology of the scoring is a little skewed against non-Urban density places and places like TX as opposed to cities. Distance traveled docks a place's score so it works against us as compared to say Chicago since ' driving more ' is viewed as ' not staying at home.' In TX we must drive to HEB, the doctor etc. whereas in Chicago one can walk to the grocery, the drug store, etc.
As a result it dings us here a little so can be misleading so we are doing a tad better than may be reflected in the scores.
No more HEB now; deliveries only. Grocery stores are probably by now infested with the virus; they really need to have a donation/tip jar for those workers in the stores; huge risks they are taking and they should be rewarded.
This isn't directed at anybody here or in this thread. What scares me is people who aren't scared. They hear a little bit of positive - fact or gossip - and cling to it like a life preserver. So many people in denial. So many people will hear 'early signs of slight flattening of the curve in some areas' and think they just heard 'we can all come out now'. Yes we all take risks in this hobby with our genitals and marriages. This is different. Please stay home. Not interested in debating. If you feel differently, fine. I'll see some of you ladies when there's a vaccine or at the very least a proven treatment.
I agree with your first statement, I'd like to agree with your second but honestly think be it positive or negative information those engaging will do so regardless; if they could distinguish between good and bad news than a line would be drawn in the sand. Well, some more info out today. Now I know why I was told several days ago by my friend to hold my breath at the drive thru when being handed my CC back, the drink and the food bag as well as at HEB never to look in the direction of the cashier/pharmacist to look towards the side and try to hold my breath as well.

I am not scared. Concerned? Yes. I am just following the guidelines from from authoritative sources and have only been within 6 feet of 4 people in the last 2 weeks. Ignoring all the misinformation and disinformation that is bombarding us helps alot.
Time flies, today is my 3 week anniversary for staying in. glad to be safe, alive and looking forward to things getting better at some point. Hope everyone else is safe, happy and isolating themselves.
I’m stir crazy but the rain has kinda helped. It’s been a lazy past few days with lots of naps and not much news watching. Provisions are getting low, so I’ll have to go out soon or order.
I've been home unless I NEED to get out. But on the positive side, I have the cleanest dick in town. It gets washed at least once a day for about 20 min. I figure it's mine, I can wash it as long as I want too. LOL!
