This so much. We learn. If I have a headache, why am I going to give you a rotten time? I want to greet with a hug and smile and leave with one.
If I get negotiated with, I already dislike the person. Imagine the woman who is in need and takes on the negotiating client and he gets a crap session. I would give a crap session, even if he agreed to my original rate, to me it's personal and I dislike him and don't stop disliking him. When they say "it doesn't hurt to try, it definitely does".
Many shitty sessions are burn out from the provider, menially and physically exhausted. Or first contact before he got there. I decided to not work under either condition.
I have not had a bad experience yet. I did have someone text this morning "I want something fast and sloppy". I blocked. He apologized, I told him I'm not his type. A gentleman will make a appointment like a human being. He didn't even say 6 words, but it told me enough about how he was. His character, and his respect. If I saw him, I would had disliked him off the bat just for that, I chose to not give him a bad session. In my opinion he would had deserved it, just my opinion. He may have been a great guy!
