But this is not a situation where I'm gonna Norma Rae this establishment over this. If you're getting warned, it's because of your own behavior you chose. Not interacting is a choice. As for OP, I'll say that I very much enjoy the hobby scene here, love the experience with most of the women I've met, but I've had bad experiences here too (and in Houston, and Dallas, and San Antonio). The ability for some to blame all for the actions of a few is dangerously misplaced and will likely lead to a lonely existence eventually...and frankly absolves that individual who did you harm for their personal responsibility if you spread the blame to others without blame.
By the way, as you well know, no shows are a problem not just for providers but for hobbyists as well. I've been stuck with a hotel room I don't need for a session that didn't happen more times than I like to admit. I've driven across town, fought traffic, sat awkwardly in a hotel parking lot for too long for nothing for providers that did not respect me or my time as important as theirs. I did not blame all providers for this when it happened, nor did I blame "the city" or "its culture" or "all providers in the town". I simply marked that individual off my list for the future and moved on.
Certainly anyone can play or not play in Austin as they wish, but I've never lived in a town that I loved more than this one and, based on what housing prices are doing here over the last ten years, I'm not alone. To each their own.
I'm sorry that someone wronged you by booking and bailing on a session. It's wrong. It hurts everyone indirectly as it hurts you directly. As does no shows from providers, or people that double book, or scam artists ruin it for other providers in a similar vein. But ultimately, if you're more comfortable with your established client base in Houston or Dallas, it makes sense that you not return here so you can maximize your business. I wish it were not true and everyone could follow the golden rule, but ultimately those are not the times in which we live. But I wish you well. As for the girls slogging through some of the Austin hobbyist's bad behaviors, I'm grateful you guys stuck it out. Thank you for your...services.
