I flew from Houston to Japan. That was a nice 19 hours spent. It wasn't so bad because I had others with me. I drove from North Carolina to Texas. That was hard. It was tough when I got to Texas. I have drove from Houston to Austin and right back for a session. She could play the flute. Those were the days.
Just to hobby? Drove through the Everglades once. With hobbying as a secondary objective? Flown 9 hours.
I love to drive and be out in the good old USA. Love the wide open spaces and most of all I enjoy the music. Cars can have great sound for little $$. Give me any excuse to get out on the road. And time with a lovely women is the best excuse of all.
If I can find Jane Mansfield Marilynn Monroe types I wouldn't mind 500 miles one way. I'm retired, single and have resources and time. Trouble is getting ghosted. I would drive from San Antonio to see Anna Nikkole in a heartbeat.

Well, mileage wise... 7,403 miles one way. It was for a quick business trip, but I met an exotic escort who made the trip worth it.
my longest drive was a day trip from Houston to Austin to see a young spinner. 2h30 driving - 1h fun - 2h30 driving back. My back was hurt as hell
Farthest I've driven: London to Biot, France - 850 miles, basically a bit farther than Beaumont to El Paso with a ferry crossing thrown in.
Farthest I've flown: Houston to Tokyo non-stop (6,665 miles), then on to Seoul.
The non-stop flight to/from Tokyo was 14 hours, which is enough time to eat, get drunk, pass out for 8 hours, wake up and still have 4 hours to go. It was also the worst jet lag I've ever had.
