local charities need our help this year more than ever

Coats for kids, toy drives, the food bank, the giving tree. all the local charity fundraising drives for the holidays are really hurting this year. there are far more folks in need and fewer people out at the stores donating to good causes. please consider giving a little extra this year to the needy families to help them have a good holiday. there are more families than ever in need and fewer funds to help them this year. I do a fundraiser at the holidays for immigrants in our town. please pick a cause and donate what you can. I urge everyone to open up the pocketbook and help others this year. It will make you feel better and will save Christmas for a family in need.
