on the flip side they have some kind of system to validate people are of legal age to view porn online. From a privacy standpoint that's worse.
Thwy have been on a slippery slope since the “Iron Lady” Margret Thatcher left office. You would be hard pressed to find a Churchill now among them.
It's technically legal to have an escort over. BUT it's also legal for an officer to drain all funds from a sex worker's bank account with no hard evidence that she is a SW. A landlord can also evict you at any point if they have any suspicions of you operating a brothel from your apartment, again WITH NO EVIDENCE. The sw laws in the UK are almost exclusively for the hobbyist's benefit but offer 0 protection for the provider. Oliver Thorne has a good video on this topic for more info.
