I guess I was channeling my "inner Ed" this morning. I glanced at it at thought it said "Who's on your steaming 'to do' list?"
The last time I saw very many movies with subtitles, it was period kung-fu movies in downtown OKC, with a theater full of Thais, Chinese and Vietnamese folks. They were talking up a storn through the entire movie. But beyond the general din it wasn't too distracting simply because I couldn't understand a word they said. Thus my mind wasn't always trying to process what *they* were saying. I just concentrated on reading the subtitles.
Westworld Season 2 is my current endulgance on HBO NOW, and I am eagerly awaiting Season 2 of Ozark and Season 3 of Stranger Things on netflix.
I don't think I've gotten thru season 1 of Westwood yet, maybe? Since I pipe thru Prime, I don't subscribe every month. I'm a binger. Lololol, I think it took one and half days to get thru Season 2 of Stranger things. Yo, I got the ringrone! I'm also a GOT fan too.
Recently spent a day watching Lost in Space and The week of on Netflix, both good. While LIS ended oddily, I see it as maybe a winner winner with multiple seasons.
Okay boi-z,, Let's all tap into our inner Eds and Include your steaming todo lists if you don't stream, DVR, or OTA to get your viewing pleasure on...
Westworld is an absolute must watch, and I'm caught up. Now I'm catching up on Barry since I watched an episode waiting for westworld on Sunday. I would appreciate suggestions for something to put on my tablet for a flight to new York this week.
Well.... what are your likes/dislikes? What trips yer trigger baby?
Maybe an action or scifi genre. Not opposed to a western either. Just can't do 50 shades on the high chance the person next to me won't appreciate it :)
If you have Netflix, Godless - series, Hateful 8, The Homesman, Hickok, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Cloud Atlas - I bought the book tough read. Damn, just cleared a bunch from my list..
Amazon oh my,, who deleted mah chit??? Okay so Valerian and the city of a thousand planets is all I got atm. Why can I never find what I've watched on amazon? It's like it disappears.
I happen to be fond of shows like John Adams with Laura Linny and Paul Giamatti. It was a great series. Free with Prime.
If you have Netflix the aforementioned Lost In Space was good. You might check out Altered Carbon if you haven’t seen it already. If you liked The Twilight Zone, check out Black Mirror also on Netflix.
I know I added Altered Carbon, but haven't watched. Just saw Black Mirror whilst searching a bit ago. Thanks for the heads up. Always looking for new good stuff!
There was this movie I just watched and can't Remember the name. It was like they were on a space station and got put into an alternate timeline. I''d give it a 3 1/2 stars. But the hand scene was epic! Best part of the movie lol. My problem is I take my nynite med, push play and ultimately fall asleep. Then have no memory of it til I randomly decide to watch it again. Sometimes it takes me 5 or 6 times to get a movie watched. I prefer Netflix at night to go to sleep by. It shuts down quietly and the volume on low is even with not many highs and lows.
That would be the cloverfield paradox, blaze. It was a good movie :)
I rally enjoyed Ozark which also started Laura Linny on Netflix I think.
